ACAP’S Head Start and Daycare Programs Currently Enrolling
Albany, New York – March 11, 2009 - Albany Community Action Partnership (ACAP) is currently enrolling children and families for its free preschool and infant/toddler programs, including Head Start and its daycare program at the Early Learning Center in downtown Albany. Families with children under the age of five, including expectant parents, who live throughout Albany County may be eligible for enrollment. Children with special needs are welcome and will receive special services as part of the daily classroom curriculum. All programs and services are geared toward helping to prepare young children for success in school.
ACAP offers 14 convenient classroom locations throughout Albany County. Free or affordable after-school child care is also available at some locations. Transportation may also be available, but space is limited. Families must qualify to enroll; priority is given to families with incomes at the poverty level or below.
